Thursday Keynote Speaker - Pastor Keith Peri

Pastor Keith Pastor Keith Peri has been in ministry for over 20 years, and is currently the Senior Pastor of The Gathering Place Worship Center in Atlanta GA.   He graduated from The Jimmy Swaggart Bible College in 1988 and The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 1992.  He was ordained with the Assemblies of God in 1986 and served in various ministry positions such as Minster of Music, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and even a missionary in Latin America.  Pastor Keith continued to minister with the Assemblies of God until he graduated from Seminary in 1992 when he moved to Kansas City Mo., to go through an Exodus Ex-Gay program where he was taught he could pray the gay away. He jokingly says, “It didn’t work, you can ask my husband.”

It was during this time in that God really began to deal with him about who he was and who God had created him to be.  This created a passion in Pastor Keith’s heart to bring to light what The Bible really says about homosexuality. He has developed a teaching on this subject and has traveled to many places around the world teaching this truth. He is currently working on his book called “I am Gay, I am Christian and God loves me.”  He currently resides with his husband of 18 years, Edward and their two adorable pups Barnum and Bailey.

Thursday REMNANT SINGS! - What is it, and who can be a part???

Nope - it's not the name of the newest Christian Rock Band.
So what is "Remnant Sings?"  Well, hopefully, it's you!

"Remnant Sings" is the open-mic, congregational all-sing that kicks off our TEN Conference each year.  Often we'll hear from a few touring artists as well, but the best part is getting to share our gifts with each other in a fun and Spirit-filled time of song, dance, art, poetry, and more!  Bring your talent and share your gift with us.

Our Worship Leader, Debra Lynn Rodriguez, will be there AND....

Both "Papa" David Ferrell and Todd Ferrell are planning to MC and share their gifts with us too!  It's gonna be an awesome way to start a conference focusing on "IMPACT!"

We will begin opening night of conference on, Thursday, June 29 with a Welcome Dinner and fellowship time at 7pm, followed immediately by "Remnant Sings" at 8pm.

For more information or if you have questions about details or how to be part, contact Shawn at info@theevangelicalnetwork.net.

Friday Keynote Speaker - Pastor Deanna Jaworski

Pastor D Rev. Deanna received her spiritual calling in 1983 and served for years in the music ministry for the NJ District of the Assemblies of God.  One NJ district director pointed out that “…she sings with an anointing that is rich with purpose and reflects her commitment to the Lord, Who is calling her…”

In 1987, because of coming out as a God-fearing born-again lesbian, she was excommunicated from her denomination for being “a reproach to the cross of Jesus Christ.”  She spent the next few years angry with God and unfulfilled by her music.

Determined to continue to love God while being open and honest about her sexuality, she moved to South Florida where she served as Music Director for three different LGBT- affirming congregations.  In December of 1998, Rev. Deanna received her Bachelor of Christian Ministry from Christian Bible College and Seminary, Independence, MO and was ordained as a Reverend in March of 1999. She completed her Master's of Divinity Degree in Christian Counseling/Pastoral Ministry in September of 2001, and is now working on her Doctoral Degree in Pastoral Ministry/Christian Counseling.

In 1997, Rev. Deanna and Jill (her life partner since 1986) founded SpiritSong Ministries – “Igniting the world for Christ...one life at a time.®"  In August of 1999, SpiritSong Ministries gave birth to Church of the Holy SpiritSong (Florida) where she served as the founding, Senior Pastor until June of 2007. Amidst a loving, tearful parting she ordained three new pastors to carry on the work in South FL. She followed the call of God to NJ, and in November 2008, God called together a handful of servants with a vision for a new LGBT-affirming fellowship to be birthed on the Jersey Shore – thus Church of the Holy SpiritSong NJ.  Along with their two children Scott Marcus, 12 and Anthony Jason 7, they continue to share the Good News with all people. Their message is simple - the life-changing truth  of God’s reconciliation and forgiveness is for all people -- regardless of sexual orientation.
